A classic! This is a great book! As a 5th-grade teacher, I am always on the outlook for new fiction, and this story delivers the goods! Toots, trapped between personal grief and moral obligation, is forced to make decisions which affect not only her future, but those around her. In the process, she learns valuable lessons about life and love. I highly recommend this book for children of all ages.

Vicious Circles and Infinity: An Anthology of Paradoxes
Published in Paperback by Viking Press (December, 1979)

Hello, I must be going!I owned this book many years ago. I leant the book years ago and have missed it since. It is
a wryly concocted compendium of much in life that is paradoxical in math, art, literature, music, movies and the world around us. Reading this book is like chasing your tail with the desired hope of never catching it. If you catch your tail, you might as well throw the book away! It is tough to classify this one on the bookstore shelf:art, mathematics, logic or humor. They all fit the bill. One of the great, mind opening, fun books to cherish and share. I guess this means I have to buy a new one from Amazon Books
This is a great book not only for parents but those of us who work closely with young women. I have to admit I even found some of the info very practical for myself. It is a great place to start if you're looking for answers on how to help young women become stronger!
